You can't tell people suffering from cancer to not feel the pain, a person with a broken bone cannot be asked to ignore the agony; people in these situations never chose to be in a situation like this. Mental illness is one of them, it's not physically noticeable but it exists.
Speaking about our current generation, we call ourselves educated and open-minded, and progressive about the way we think but appreciating the fact that anyone can have mental illness and that it's curable is still not the most accepted notion.
Millions die annually because of mental disorders even after the fact that treatment avails. And to know that your condition is but a taboo in society does nothing but worsen the circumstances.
Therefore, I insist you guys come together and let us start a campaign, it's a disorder, not a decision, and let the world know it was not their choice, but it's our choice to accept them and help them.
